Hanford Turbine Generator
The Hanford Generating Plant consisted of two 430-megawatt turbine generators that operated continuously from April 1966 to December 1986. The structure contained four operating levels for the turbines, generators, support equipment, control room, and overhead cranes. Additionally, the structure extended 50’ below the surface.

- Abated all hazardous and potentially radiological contaminated material
- Consolidated contaminated material for onsite burial
- Backfilled and compacted the entire basement area
